(13 November 2009, Hong Kong:) Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited (Hactl) is pleased to announce that the Company has once again clinched the title "Air Cargo Terminal of the Year" for the third year in a row at the prestigious Supply Chain Asia Logistics Awards (SCALA) 2009.

SCALA is organised by Asia Pacific's leading industry publication Supply Chain Asia to recognise outstanding achievements and contributions of industry players in the region. The awards presentation ceremony cum gala dinner was held on 12 November at Singapore's Raffles Town Club, attracting hundreds of industry leaders to attend.

SCALA uses a two-part process of customers and a judging panel of industry experts from the regional and global supply chain and logistics industry to select winners, ensuring highest integrity and credibility. In the category of "Air Cargo Terminal of the Year", Hactl outperforms its counterparts in a comprehensive range of judging criteria that includes: level of customer service, IT know-how and systems, overall terminal efficiency, airline network coverage, quality of ground transportation links, ability to handle specialised shipments, specialised storage and handling facilities, launch/upgrade of new products/services as well as handling charges.
