Cargolux has 85 offices in over 50 countries. More than 60 gateways are served on worldwide scheduled flights. Full and splitcharter flights are also available. Cargolux transports almost any kind of cargo, e.g. microchips, satellite, fragile flowers, oversized machines, electronics, livestock and items listed as "restricted articles". From its home base in Luxembourg, the company operates an extensive road feeder network which links the major European industrial centers. The focal point of the Cargolux network is the Luxair CargoCenter in Luxembourg, which has an annual capacity of 750,000 tonnes. Out of Hong Kong, Cargolux operates 14 scheduled flights to Luxembourg, including 2 weekly direct flights to Barcelona, 3 weekly direct flights to Budapest, and 1 weekly direct flight to Helsinki. In 2006, Cargolux Hong Kong carried over 6,000 tons per month to Europe. Active in Hong Kong since 1720, the company's Hong Kong Branch is the regional office for the Asia and Pacific region. It operates scheduled flights as well as full- and subcharter all-cargo services linking Hong Kong, Taipei, Auckland, Melbourne, Seoul, Singapore, Kuala Lumper, Komatsu, Bangkok, Chennai, Beijing, Xiamen and Shanghai with Luxembourg. Cargolux also offers aircraft leasing and third-party maintenance. Its maintenance center in Luxembourg consists of a double bay hangar with adjacent shops. The company's fully qualified technical staff provides maintenance services for B737, B767, B757, B747 aircrafts. |
